Emi Ito, OTR/L, CHT, CLT, CEAS
Emi is a South Bay native who earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. She began her career in acute hospital care before completing a specialized hand therapy fellowship in Houston, deepening her expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation.
Emi is a Certified Hand Therapist — a nationally recognized credential that requires passing a rigorous board exam and signifies advanced expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation. She also holds certifications as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist, supporting her commitment to holistic and specialized care.
In addition to clinical practice, Emi teaches in academic settings and professional seminars. Outside of work, Emi enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and son.
Emi is dedicated to empowering clients through personalized rehabilitation, helping patients understand their conditions and confidently navigate their path to recovery. Her innovative and creative approach combines evidence-based techniques with compassionate care to achieve meaningful, lasting results.

David Huynh, OTD, OTR/L
David earned his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. Throughout his clinical training, he developed experience across hand therapy and neurorehabilitation settings, with a strong focus on upper extremity rehabilitation and functional recovery.
David has a special interest in hand therapy, orthotic fabrication, and working with everyone from office workers to active individuals and athletes. He is also trained in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and has developed educational training materials to support clinical learning and evidence-based practice for occupational therapy students.
In addition to his clinical work, David is an independent videographer and wedding filmmaker, bringing a creative and detail-oriented perspective into both patient care and storytelling. Outside of work, he enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu and spending time with his dachshund and two cats.
David is passionate about helping clients regain confidence and function through personalized, patient-centered care. He values building strong therapeutic relationships and creating treatment plans that support each individual’s goals, lifestyle, and long-term recovery.

Arnita Padre-e, Patient Care Coordinator
Arnita supports JOVIA remotely, helping coordinate patient communication, scheduling, and administrative support. She has a background in healthcare administration, medical billing, and insurance, bringing strong attention to detail and a patient-centered approach to every interaction.
With experience supporting healthcare teams remotely, Arnita is dedicated to creating a smooth and welcoming experience for patients from their very first point of contact. She looks forward to assisting patients and supporting their care journey with kindness, professionalism, and reliability.
Outside of work, Arnita enjoys traveling, exploring new food and cultures, and spending time at the beach with family and friends.
